Read public profiles and the student directory without signing in or running JavaScript. The same public information is available as JSON for apps, research tools and search assistants.
Student directory
Browse profiles or open the JSON directory.
GET https://www.dormy.in/students.json?limit=100&offset=0The response includes profiles, total, offset, limit and a next URL. Follow next until it is null. Each page contains at most 100 profiles.
Individual profiles
GET https://www.dormy.in/profiles/granthshrishrimal.jsonReplace the username with one from the directory. Each record includes its canonical URL, public name, university, course, bio and interests. A directory_entry is a listed identity, not a claim of account verification.
Access and freshness
No key is required. GET and HEAD are supported, with cross-origin reads enabled. Only public information is returned. Private messages, university email addresses, authentication data and internal account identifiers are not available through these feeds.
Visibility is checked on each request. A missing or excluded profile returns 404. A temporary service failure returns 503; retry later with a delay. Avoid repeatedly downloading unchanged data and retain links to the original profiles when using it. Published URLs may use a member's chosen username.
HTML pages remain the canonical search results. JSON responses are marked noindex to avoid competing copies. Automated access does not bypass the terms or privacy policy.
